TALLAHASSEE, FL - May 24, 2010 -- The Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) is pleased to announce the official results of its 2010 Board of Directors elections. Earning Board positions were:
- Academic & Research - Stephanie Thomas-Rees, Florida Solar Energy Center, Cocoa, Fla.
- At-Large - Mike Rogers, Wilson & Associates LLC, Tallahassee, Fla.
- Design & Analysis - William (Bill) Eggers, VHB MillerSellen, Orlando, FL
- Development & Construction - Bill Lazar, St. Johns Housing Partnership, St. Augustine, Fla.
- Government - Julia Galofre, Charlotte County Government, Port Charlotte, Fla.
- Product - John Schutt, Southern Cross Building Products, Boynton Beach, Fla.
- Public Advocate - Honey Rand, Environmental PR Group, Lutz, Fla.
- Real Estate, Finance & Property Services - Jeannette Moore, JM Properties, St. Augustine, Fla.
These new Board members will begin their 3-year terms at the FGBC Board of Directors meeting scheduled on June 2, 2010, during the FGBC GreenTrends Conference being held at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel in St. Petersburg on June 2-4. The Board is comprised of 25 Directors, three representatives from each of the eight affiliations, plus one representative from the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA). One seat in each category is elected annually. Eric Gimson, Two Trails, Inc., Sarasota, FL, is the FHBA appointee.
