Sonya Negley, Senior Consultant - Business Development
Negley provides grant writing, administration, and strategic planning assistance to profit and non-profit organizations. In addition, she provides renewable energy site location, funding, feedstock utilization planning, entrepreneurial economic development and non-profit management services.
Previously, Negley was Manager, Business and Community Development, Florida's Great Northwest, Inc. with leadership responsibilities in the following service areas: Grant Writing, Small Business Innovative Research Assistance, International Trade, Foreign Direct Investment, Renewable Energy Projects, Research and Life Sciences.
Her professional experience also includes 15 years in senior management with the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce and Oklahoma State Chamber. She has founded and developed three non-profit subsidiaries and one for-profit subsidiary. Negley secured funding and construction of a self-sustaining small business incubator and assisted in launching over 3,000 private ventures. Negley is a certified NX Level Entrepreneurship trainer, and served as a grant reviewer for State and Federal granting agencies, and has authored training programs on grant writing, starting a small business, regionalism, and innovation.
