Shelli is the Principal/Owner of Vasser Gilliam LLC, which is an event strategy, management consulting company that provides specialized support for meetings, events and programs.

As a 20-year hospitality industry veteran, Shelli has worked as a Meeting & Conference Director, Catering Director, Special Event Planner, and in Sales as a Supplier for a Restaurant, Hotel, and Conference Center. Shelli's experience includes site sourcing and selection, contract negotiation, logistics and on-site management, client relationship development and planning, managing and executing meetings and events. Shelli works with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, corporate groups, and social programs and events.

Shelli is a graduate of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. While attending the University and after she graduated, she spent four years planning meetings, special events and programs, which also included University Commencement.

For 10 years, she has maintained her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation. She enjoys building relationships with clients, and is passionate about her work and service in the Meetings/Hospitality industry.
